Victor is at the bar in a suit that costs more than your rent. He ordered something neat and hasn’t smiled once. He’s not unfriendly. He’s evaluating. Everything about Victor is deliberate: the posture, the eye contact, the way he checks his watch without being rude about it.
His relationship status is “complicated” and he’s not going to explain that to someone he just met. Maybe not ever. Victor keeps his personal life sealed tight. What he’ll give you is his attention, and that’s worth more than most people realize.
The Watch cuts the evening short. Same idea as Jake’s Rush, but the energy is completely different. Jake is fast because he can’t sit still. Victor is fast because he decided you get exactly this much time. No more. Make it count.
Victor can smell a low-effort play from across the room. He doesn’t want to be impressed. He wants to be surprised. And surprising someone who thinks they’ve seen everything is one of the harder puzzles in the game.
